AI Integration System

Automad offers AI assistance for content editing within the block editor. This feature is optional and can be fully disabled. To use AI writing assistance, you must connect at least one supported AI provider.

Automad currently supports integrations with OpenAI and Claude APIs.

The supported providers require you to create an account on their platform. After signing up, you can generate a dedicated API key for use in Automad and purchase token credits. The API key can be entered during integration setup, and you can select which AI model to use for assistance.

Note that Automad does not use your data for training AI models or any other external processing. When using external AI services, the respective providers' terms of service and data policies apply.

Automad is a PHP application that runs on most standard web servers. The system requirements are intentionally minimal, and you can choose between several installation options depending on your setup. Alternatively you can also try out a live demo first.

Automad requires proper email configuration on your server to send transactional emails using PHP. These emails are sent for user invitations, password resets, and when using the mail block on a page.
